Digital library standards and metadata, the basics : A one-day joint Seminar presented by the LIASA Interest Group for Bibliographic Standards (IGBIS) and the GAELIC Focus Group for Digitisation and Metadata.

Topics such as institutional repositories, metadata, XML, digital imaging technology and text encoding will be addressed at an introductory level.
